Emma Neiderheiser
RVT

Veterinary Technician

Emma has been working with us since May of 2022. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2017, starting as a Kennel Assistant and switching over to a Veterinary Technician Intern in 2021, after starting the Veterinary Technician Program at DMACC. Here at FPVC she started as a Veterinary Assistant, but is now a Registered Veterinary Technician. In May of 2023 Emma graduated from the DMACC's Veterinary Technician Program and went on to pass both the State of Iowa exam as well as the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) which allowed her the registered status. Her biggest interest at work is to educate clients of routine preventive care, especially with new puppies! Emma enjoys the team environment we harbor at Family Pet Veterinary Center and enjoys being part of our team.

Emma’s home life consists of fishing, hanging out with friends, or streaming shows. During her binge-watching, Emma has her cats, Honey and Rue, to keep her company. She hopes in the future to have a golden retriever, but for right now she’s is content with her cats. To any new pet owner, she would recommend taking time to care for your new pet and let them get used to their new surroundings, as well as ask as many questions as you can to get the best advice to help give the best care to your pet and help them live a long, healthy life.
